Blood in the urine, frequent bladder infections, increased urge to urinate are in 90% of cases not yet signs of bladder cancer. The DiaPat® BCa-PROteom test can help to rule out bladder cancer because it can detect tissue changes at an early stage. Ultrasound and urine examination with a microscope very often miss tumors in early stages. With the DiaPat® BCa-PROteom test, unnecessary bladder unnecessary cystoscopies can be avoided. The risk here is e.g. injury to the urethra, sphincter, or urinary bladder. Early diagnosis and timely therapy can thus preserve the bladder.
