GvHD test

Blood stem cells are usually transplanted for the treatment of leukaemia. This can trigger an immunological response in the recipient's body as a serious complication, the so-called Graft-versus-Host Disease (GvHD). About one third to one half of patients develop acute GvHD. With the DiaPat® GvHD test as an early warning system, GvHD can already be detected 10 to 14 days before the first clinical symptoms appear. Early detection enables the timely initiation of therapy as well as the safe monitoring of the initiated measures.
